Objectives:
With the scorching sun and high temperatures in the UAE, the mall management was looking for a solution to reduce the amount of heat and glare entering the building. After considering various options, they decided to install solar films insulation on the mall's windows.
Solution:
The project involved installing solar films insulation on a total area of 6000 square meters of glass surface. The solar films insulation would help reduce the amount of heat and glare entering the building, thereby improving the indoor temperature, and reducing the load on the air conditioning system.
Result:
The project was executed in multiple phases to minimize disruption to the mall's operations. The installation team worked in the early morning and late evening hours to avoid peak shopping hours. The project was completed within the stipulated time frame and to the satisfaction of the mall management.
